÷ (Divide) One of the most anticipated global releases of 2017, “÷” takes listeners on a deeply personal journey with Ed Sheeran. The album delves into reflections on past relationships, family memories, his musical career, and his experiences traveling the world in 2016. Musically, ÷ offers a diverse range of beautifully orchestrated ballads, impassioned raps over hip hop beats, timeless acoustic guitar pieces, and innovative pop tracks. Recorded in various locations including LA, London, Suffolk, and aboard the RMS Queen Mary 2, this album was executive produced by multi-GRAMMY winner Benny Blanco and Ed Sheeran himself. Additional production credits include Johnny McDaid, Mike Elizondo, and Steve Mac. Ed Sheeran also took a hands-on approach to the album’s artwork, personally conceptualizing and painting the cover for “÷”.
