Above Cirrus Pure Reason Revolution returns with their fifth studio album, “Above Cirrus,” their second since reuniting in 2019. The band’s rebirth led them back to their earliest influences, resulting in “Above Cirrus,” where they delve even deeper into atmospheric, cinematic psych-prog compositions reminiscent of the well-received “Eupnea.” Centered around the core trio of Jon Courtney, Chloe Alper, and Greg Jong, the new album expands the band’s sound palette. The album features striking artwork by Berlin artist Jill Tegan Doherty and is presented as a gatefold 180g LP+CD set.
