This is a red vinyl LP pressing of Absolute Elsewhere by Blood Incantation. Known for pushing the boundaries of extreme music, the Denver-based quartet delivers an album that defies easy categorization. Spanning two expansive compositions across 45 minutes, Absolute Elsewhere fuses the atmospheric synth-driven textures of ’70s prog—featuring a guest appearance by Tangerine Dream’s Thorsten Quaeschning—with the crushing intensity of death metal. Following their acclaimed 2019 album Hidden History of the Human Race and the ambient 2022 release Timewave Zero, Blood Incantation now transcend genre entirely, crafting a sound that’s as ambitious as it is immersive.
