The Slow Rush Imagine the collective sigh of relief from fans as they finally unwrapped the sonic gift of ‘The Slow Rush’ in 2020 after a five-year patience test. This album wasn’t just pushing boundaries; it was pole-vaulting over them with tracks like “Borderline” and “Lost in Yesterday”. Tame Impala’s second GRAMMY nod for Best Alternative Music Album confirmed what we already knew: Kevin Parker is a musical sorcerer. But he didn’t conjure this magic alone; he brought in Jay Watson to co-write and sprinkle some sonic fairy dust in the production, earning them an ARIA Music Award for Engineer of the Year. Because when you’re as cool as Tame Impala, one award just isn’t enough, right? Double vinyl LP pressing.
