Unlocked Vinyl LP pressing. 2020 release. Denzel Curry kicks off 2020 with a menacing and concise full-length album produced entirely by Kenny Beats. “Unlocked” is the result of a three-day studio session following Denzel’s appearance on Kenny’s YouTube show, The Cave. The project showcases a departure from their usual sounds, with Denzel drawing inspiration from Wu-Tang Clan members and Kenny exploring influences from Madlib, Dilla & MF Doom. Despite these classic influences, “Unlocked” presents a fresh sound, setting the tone for a new decade. The album will be accompanied by a half live-action, half stop-animation film featuring every song.
